SMS Pager enhances your built-in SMS application by filtering incoming messages based on “key words” and/or by the telephone number the SMS originated from. Once past the filter the SMS Pager screen is displayed with 3 buttons, where a selection of responses can be pressed to acknowledge the received message and make a return call or SMS reply.
You can download free version from our WEB page (you have to allow unknown sources / unknown applications) and also buy a PRO version. Links are on the bottom of the page.
Settings:
- For basic filtering of incoming SMS alerts, SMS pager can be set to only activate based on “SMS sender numbers” where you can add one or more certain numbers (divided by dot or comma) to check for any received short message.
- SMS pager supports customized description labels for each of the three colored buttons. Each button can incorporate a reply function automatically when acknowledging the incoming SMS message by either calling a pre-defined telephone number (insert target in “Number” field) or send a predetermined SMS reply message, ie. “Yes, I’ll be there” or “No, Cannot Go”. This SMS function is achieved by inserting “sms:” before button reply number ie. “sms:01xxxx”
- Additional SMS pager filtering can also be based on SMS messages containing “Words” where a message containing these inserted words are instantly recognized from any sending phone or device.
- When acknowledging the emergency SMS pager, you must push&hold a colored button for a preset time which can be set in milliseconds.
- If you wish to set your own ringing tone, click on the empty field beneath Tone: and select the tone with Android selector.
- After all the settings click on Save settings button.
- On the bottom of settings there is a test button, to check the SMS pager settings.
- The SMS pager can also be deactivated for a certain amount of time. In this time you will receive a normal SMS, but the pager will not be activated. You can select how many hours the pager will be deactivated and confirm with selecting the checkbox. The settings is saved automatically. To reactivate the Pager before selected time, deselect the checkbox.
History:
- SMS pager saves messages in a history log which can be reviewed from the SMS pager icon button located on the main application settings screen. A SMS pager history log screen has three buttons (Delete, Previous message, Next message). Users can review and navigate the messages with arrow buttons. To delete selected message, push & hold a delete button for at least one second. Please note: All original copies of SMS messages remain undisturbed in the built-in Android messaging application even after being deleted from the SMS pager history log.

Privacy statement:
The SMS pager application does not have access to the Web, does not collect or send your or other's data anywhere.
The SMS pager will initiate dialing to the desired phone number only at your request. If you have selected sending SMS instead of phone call, the SMS pager does not send it automatically, but requires you to confirm sending.
If it is set to react on only certain words in the message, the SMS pager reads the message sent from the preset number(s) in order to verify the content of the words you requested. In no case is the message forwarded, nor is the content of the message in any way stored anywhere in your phone.
For possible service needs, the numbers from which messages arrive are stored in the history table in your phone. Without your knowledge, history is not shared with anyone.
Because of the Google Play policy, which does not allow apps to read SMS messages, we were forced to remove the apps from Google servers.
